Tuacahn's Production of "Big River"

I was so excited when Bonnie mentioned to me that Tuacahn Amphitheatre in St. George is doing a production of "Big River", a story based on "Huckleberry Finn". This production runs from August 27 through October 17, 2008. I thought it would be fun for all who have read the book in our book club this summer to go down to St. George together and see this production. It only plays on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I was thinking October would be the most comfortable weather wise. So if you are interested please mark you calendars and make arrangements to go because I don't want to have to go by myself. For more information you can go to www.tuacahn.org.

I'm in. (But who will tend your children?)

I'm in too. What day in October are you leaning towards? UEA is over the 16th and 17th so that would be convenient as far as my children are concerned but it's always crowded in St George over school holidays.

Oh, When I said "I'm in" I meant just me. But Mike said he wants to come and Grandpa would probably go for it. My girls are out on Oct 16& 17th also. Emma will be baptized on Sat., Oct 11th. (So I will need to be home that week to obsessively clean my house)

Baron would tend the kids for me. I think it would be best if we went on the last day, OCT 17th. That would be great if Grandpa came. I was wondering if we should stay over night at a hotel on friday night because the show is at 7:30. I know Diana would have a room with her husband and maybe grandpa. Maybe I could split the cost of a room with Bonnie and maybe Jan and any other girl that is going. My mom might come. I don't know, let me know so we can plan but I definately think Oct 17th would work for me.

Robert and Lauren want to go. I think I'll leave Connor and Gordon home alone. (Do I dare? Will they burn my house down? Will they eat nothing but ding dongs and corn chips for two days?) I'm still thinking about it.

Maybe Blaine or Nicole could stay with them. Someone would at least be there to pick up the wrappers.

Are we talking driving down Thursday and coming home Saturday?
